Bio
Rébecca Dautremer studied at the École Nationale des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. She paints her poetic illustrations in gouache, her favourite technique. Books like Princesses oubliées ou inconnues (Het grote boek van vergeten prinsessen), Les riches heures de Jacominus Gainsborough (De rijke uren van Jacominus Gainsborough) and Of mice and men (Muizen en mensen) brought her international fame and recognition.

What to expect?
Rébecca demonstrates how she builds up a painted portrait and how she uses the light of the paper in doing so. After that you paint a portrait yourself. Workshop in English.
